Apparently there have been some good racing sims that have been released, but I'm not a fan of those. NFS MW is maybe the last great racing game released for the PC. There are a few things that bothered me, but they are probably too minor to make this game NOT worth playing.

Anyway, like I said before, this game is worth playing. NFSMW lets you start out with a Cobalt SS, GTI, and something else. I liked NFSU2 where you could start the game with a humble Civic, Miata, Corolla, etc. I felt like this game started off too high with that one. You can choose between around 34 cars, but I they are all higher-end cars.also, many of them are not naturally-aspirated. You can also ram police cars and disable them. By that, I mean you can crash into billboards, water towers, and gas stations, leaving the pursuing police interceptors crushed under your wake of destruction.

The environment provides objects you can "interact" with. At times, the races will seem unfair because some cars will speed ahead of you very quickly, but you catch up if you're a good driver. As for gameplay, it's fun, challenging, and it'll keep you on the edge of your seat - at least for me, it did. Set to the fullest graphic specs, everything looks great. First of all, the graphics are very decent. But of course, those are minor details that few would bother to care or notice. Also, if you coast at around 20 mph or slower, your car automaticall y begins to brake! I did not like that. Also, one can not stop one's car in the street and rev the engine just to hear it - the game makes your engine slow down too quickly. However, a gamer just buying the game to have fun probably would not care or notice. Those are just a few small details that I think most car enthusiasts would have enjoyed. First of all, there are some customization limits that would have been awesome to have: painted calipers, different exhaust tips, and different side mirrors. I am a huge NFSU2 fan, and this game was missing some elements that could have easily been included to make it more like NFSU2. However, there are a few things that I did not like about the game.
